ABOUT GIG
Giving Is Glamorous is an annual charity benefit Gala produced by City Girl Beauty Project organization to celebrate, acknowledge and honor their annual Heroic Beauty Workshop winner/honoree. The objective is to bring the organization's supporters together to raise funds and to empower young women who are survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.
The event is held annually in May/June, in NYC.
Giving is Glamorous is usually well-attended by 200 - 250 invited guests. The festivities include live music, a presentation of the organization, cocktails, light bites, fabulous swag bags, an introduction of the organization's annual "Heroic Beauty" and more...
GIG event is always hosted by a young woman of influence within the arts, entertainment and/or fashion industries.
THE CAUSE
Survivors of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking.
City Girl Beauty Project needs your help to raise funds for the organization's core program; The Heroic Beauty Workshop-a free workshop for a group of 10 - 12 selected young women (ages 18 - 30) who are survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.

HOSTS
Past hosts include entertainment personalities whose lives may or may not have been affected by domestic violence or human trafficking. We thank all of our past hosts for their kindness and generosity.
Past events were hosted by Entertainment Personality Tamika Ray, Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev (as Miss New York prior to winning Miss America) and Award-Winning Journalist Cathleen Trigg-Jones.
